The Story
This is a hand-forged Viking Bearded axe.
We used forged and hardened steel 52100 (100Cr6). This steel has better cutting properties and is more protected from rust. Cutting edge is forged by hand.
Leather case and belt loop are included.
For handle we use ash tree of highest quality. On the handle we carve Scandinavian pattern with rune Othala.
Axe`s head size~12*16,5 cm (~4,7*6 1/3 inches).
Total length - 45 cm (18 3/4 inches).
